This is a scream of the times we are living through… it’s muted!🙁

So much so unfocused. So half hearted. So distracted. So mediocre.💤

Where would you begin to talk about our world of the present?

Doesn’t it start with us all getting our own backyard sorted?

While being a self portrait the figure in the artwork could be any of us.

“Marilyn” here represents the fantasy we’ve made of life… it’s crumbling.

Marilyn Monroe was an intelligent beautiful person.

In this greedy surface world though too many wanted a piece of her.

Our visionless world of empty values must change. Speak up!😮

The original inspirational photo for the above painting follows.

Are we swimming in hot water? The lifeboat is there for a reason. NW☺︎
